Salesforce is one of the most widely used CRM tools that has some really important data that users and other systems rely on. For a CLM like SpotDraft, it is essential that this crucial data can flow seamlessly from Salesforce to reduce instances of redundant and duplicate work.
The stronger the communication between both systems, the more seamless the experience becomes, breaking down barriers and enabling Legal and Business teams to work comfortably within their preferred tools. Consequently, this also drives greater adoption of SpotDraft across the organization.
With this revamp, we are making it easier to set up this integration, while also improving the data exchange between Salesforce and SpotDraft.
Here’s a breakdown of the key improvements this revamp brings:
Our setup game just got stronger!
Responding to feedback from clients, we’ve simplified the user interface and made the configuration quicker, intuitive, and manageable without a whole lot of technical expertise.
Sync Multiple Salesforce Accounts with SpotDraft
Globally dispersed organizations might use multiple Salesforce instances. With the ability to connect multiple Salesforce accounts to SpotDraft CLM, data flows smoothly, regardless of the Salesforce account in use.
Enhanced Object Flexibility
With this update, any Salesforce object—whether a standard or custom one—can now be linked to provide data for contract creation. This flexibility empowers teams to generate contracts that reflect the unique structure of their Salesforce environment, ensuring that the CLM is not limited to only a few objects from which data can be pulled into SpotDraft.
Deeper Data Mapping Capabilities
SpotDraft’s integration now supports data retrieval from deeply nested fields—down to five levels within Salesforce objects. This means that even if information is stored across multiple layers within Salesforce, SpotDraft can access and map it directly to contracts. This functionality ensures that, for organizations with complex data hierarchies, no valuable detail is missed when drafting agreements.
Optimized CPQ-CLM Integration:
Version 2.0 enhances the integration with Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), allowing you to pull quote and quote line data from CPQ and insert them dynamically into SpotDraft contracts. This results in more accurate, tailored contracts that reflect the latest pricing and configuration details.
Continuous Updates
SpotDraft’s app is deployed using a Lightning component that loads SpotDraft's native UI directly within Salesforce. This architecture allows SpotDraft to implement updates, fixes, and improvements quickly, without needing to release a new version on AppExchange each time. We continuously update our Salesforce App approximately every two weeks.
A Winning Combination!
SpotDraft’s Salesforce Integration v2.0 sets up intelligent flows where contracts and customer data coexist fluidly. By combining contract creation, data mapping with a seamless CRM-CLM interaction, this integration empowers teams to work smarter and faster, setting a new standard for contract management efficiency.
