June just went by, and at SpotDraft, the first half of 2024 has been nothing short of remarkable. We've introduced lots of important updates, both big and small, all aimed at delivering your best CLM experience.
For this month, we’re excited to share the latest updates that we have rolled out.
Smart Data Capture
Accuracy + Speed with our latest AI Model Upgrade
Our underlying AI model powering Smart Data Capture (SDC) has been upgraded to Google's latest groundbreaking model, Gemini 1.5.
Thanks to our model-agnostic approach, we were able to upgrade our SDC engine in less than three weeks since Gemini 1.5's release.
This new model understands much more context, allowing your contract metadata to receive responses that consider the entirety of the contract. The result is more contextually accurate and better-reasoned answers, delivered at a faster pace.
Other Updates
Removing Unintended Counterparties
If unwanted counterparties were extracted using Smart Data Capture due to alias names or insufficient context, you now have the ability to delete these unintended counterparties.
Access Control For SDC
Since Smart Data Capture became a paid feature with limited credits, admins have wanted control over who can extract data and consume credits. Now, admins can do just that and decide which teams have access to extract contract metadata.
Signing
New Email One-Time Password Authentication
Introducing our new email OTP-based counterparty verification mechanism on SpotDraft.
Counterparties accessing the contract link will receive a unique 6-digit OTP to their registered email, which must be entered to access the counterparty signing and review links.
Platform
Permission Updates
We’ve improved the way you see and control contract access, making it clearer and simpler to use.
Each contract now displays users and their access details. You can easily invite users or teams, assign roles with just a few clicks, and effortlessly reassign business or legal users.
Other Updates
Enhanced Contract search with Cmd+K
- All Actions and Contracts in One Search: Contract results and all other actions are now displayed directly in the Cmd K search, eliminating the need to click the Tab button.
- Top Four Contracts as Results: For a more focused view, the search now shows the top 4 contract results. You can view all contracts by switching to repository search.
Clickthrough & Legal Hub
Major and Minor Agreement Versions
Clickthrough and Legal Hub users can now publish agreements as either major or minor versions.
Major versions could indicate substantial changes, represented by whole numbers (e.g., v1.0, v2.0), while minor versions (e.g., v1.1, v1.2) cover routine updates.
